Hi, I’m Chuck Finney. I’m a media guy passionate about telling a good story that engages the listener and moves the heart. I’ve spent over 30 years coaching radio station talent, that is, the personalities you know and love, to deepen their relationship with the folks who listen to them. But, it’s not just radio hosts who need to know how to share their stories.
Every believing Christian is part of the body of Christ, and I believe God has given each one of us stories to share with the people around us to point them toward Him. How we’ve experienced the power of God in our own lives or seen it in others may be just the thing someone needs to hear to make “Jesus loves me” a believable reality in his or her life.
You may want to know about my education and experience. I spent a lot of time in different formats of radio. Formats like Adult Contemporary, news/talk, sports, country and even classical radio—but also worked in Christian radio with Salem’s KLTY in Dallas, where as Program Director, I led a team that brought the station in Dallas to record audience levels. I’ve been the leader of a media agency for over a decade, and one of the things we work with is—you guessed it—storytelling!
Over the years, I’ve learned the how of storytelling and what to do to tell a connective story. Now I want to pass these essential elements on to you.
