HEART-FELT GIFT IN STORY
Christmas is upon us! A time to remember the greatest gift of all, the birth of our Savior. It’s also a time to reflect on the many blessings throughout the year, and a time to bless others with just the right gift.
One of the most heart-felt gifts is that of story, especially story told with gratitude. One who is grateful is always thinking about God’s hand upon their life. Emotional highlights (and lowlights) that sticks with them throughout their entire life.
That is why stories remain the powerful driver for memorable conversations, lessons, teaching sessions and yes, for gift-giving.
Jesus said, “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. – Luke 8:39 (ESV)
So, this season go throughout the whole city, gather your family and friends and share the story of God’s grace in your life. Your story just might be the greatest gift your listener receives!
